Welp, if they made the entirety of Leviathan a patrol space, they'd have to do the same thing with every other location in the game. Not saying that that wouldn't be awesome... but that that would be a crapload of work that they more than likely wouldn't have the server space to do. Earth alone would need its own building to house the server required.

  • For player connections no, but I highly doubt that they don't utilize a database server that contains all the assets for the game. The Bungie Store, for example, would need to have a database server to contain all the products so that the webmaster could call each product from a single source. Without a database server, you would need A LOT of subfolders within subfolders. That gets...messy.

  • Fallout 76 is less about not having the resources, and more about not knowing how to properly utilize them.
