I was guiding in guided games today and all of a sudden my internet lags and it kicks me from the game. It says I broke the oath so I’m assuming I have been banned. But the question is for how long? Also why do they do this if it is your first time leaving, it should be if you repeatedly leave matches. I am really irritated as I just started playing destiny 2 again and this happens. I’m considering just stopping once and for all if Bungie can’t get their act together.

1 ReplyHello, as Guided Games is in Beta stage, oathbreaker is to stop players from leaving matches. The developers of Guided Games are paying close attention to everything that happens within them. So they are aware of players who get disconnected/error codes get an oathbreaker.
For example, we know that the lack of reconnections causes all kinds of problems with unintentional oathbreakers
So this is something that is being looked into. Unfortunately I know that isn’t much help right now for players who unintentionally get an oathbreaker, but hopefully it gives hope to future Guided Games. https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46467 The oathbreaker seems to last about 40 minutes.
