This happens to everyone I know, but you know Bungie will blame everyone but themselves. It IS an issue on Bungie's end, and it is NOT an issue with individual connections.

In D1, this would happen during a raid. Sure enough, every single time it was when someone’s connection went to “red bar” on us.

that was due to the fireteam leader being the "host" for those sessions, which is why you could change leader, go to orbit and back to fix it. now they've shifted all of that to their servers so any latency issues come from the players connection to Bungie's servers - and they don't appear to be holding up right now.

I very rarely saw it in Destiny 1, but it when it did happen someone in the team/area was red bar, but it never happened once when I was alone. In Destiny 2 it happens a few times each time I play in patrol, but it only ever happens in patrol. If it was my connection all enemies would teleport, not just one. It doesn't always happen this way, but a lot of the time when it happens there is an object that a player could normally collide with. It's as if pathfinding forces the enemy to teleport instead of walk around.
