This has really got to be fixed. Enemies in Destiny 2 have a terrible habit of teleporting. And I don't mean using a dodge ability, I mean they just disappear and end up somewhere else. This definitely isn't lag on my part, because other players in the world don't do this. It's only the enemy ai. I'm not sure if it's a pathfinding problem, or if their processes were moved over to the server side of the new hybrid system and the servers have problems, or if they are just damned bugged. But it sucks. Can't tell you how many times I've been trying to take cover to recover my health, and an enemy just warps behind me and shoots me in the back. It's also just really annoying to try to shoot enemies that don't obey the laws of physics.

2 RepliesI was just about to post the same thing. I don't often see this on PS4, but now on PC I'm seeing tonnes of lag-like effects in enemies and that in the PvE portion of the game (campaign, patrols.) Enemies will be shot or knocked off a platform only for them to reappear back on it or moved to a completely different place. Shots hit and take damage off enemies health for them to instantly recover it a fraction of a second later. Bungie, I guess since those of us in New Zealand are lumped into the Americas region on battle.net does that mean we should just expect crazy lag in all parts of our gameplay experience? ('cause battle.net has a history of being extremely awful for those of us in Oceania, and only once they added local Australian servers for WoW / Diablo 3 did we see our latency drop down to the 50ms range.) I tend to avoid PvP in many games due to the latency, but I shouldn't have to avoid the PvE portions either. Currently if I look at the connections being made in relation to Destiny 2 on PC I see between 180-270 ms latency for each thread/connection. That seems (and feels) bad. Is there something you can do to address this as it is hurting our experience playing the game.
