I'm equally happy as disappointed. Super stoked to get more subclasses. Bummed that they're just regurgitated TTK subclasses. I wanted new. Preferably support subclasses since the other six are offensive. But, I main'd a Nightstalker for 18 months. It'll be like a warm blanket.

Nightstalker is support. Though if stormcaller isn't drastically changed then that means that warlock will be the only class with no support class.

I never said nightstalker wasn't a support class. Only that I was hoping for new third subclasses, that the other six are offensive based, and that I was hoping that the final three would be support classes.

Sorry, I seem to have missed part of what I was trying to say. Nightstalker is support and so is sentinel. Both can be used an offensive if you want to use them for offensive, but are at a base support. I do hope that stormcaller has been made a support because dawnbreaker sure isn't. I'll admit it's easy to forget the sentinel is support because in the beta people were enameled with it being able to kill but come raids and nightfalls that model blocking ability will become more used.

I mean, we don't know whether they'll be new or not. We know they still use a Bow, Hammer, and "Trinket"? was it. But that doesn't mean they're the same. I imagine they won't be as changed as Sentinel/Dawnblade, but who knows. I wouldn't write off that possibility entirely, maybe even more changed. Either way, yeah, I'm doubtful for them being universally "support" or something. Something to be said about nightstalker being fairly supporty, I guess? If it still works similarly.

This is very true. More than likely Bungie just reskinned TTK subclasses again, but they could be completely new designs of the stormcaller, nightstalker, and sun breaker classes.
