All these kids who rely on their nades are gonna get absolutely shit on in d2 and I can't -blam!-in wait
Just a prediction why are y'all getting so defensive?🤔
And I'm not complaining either there is nothing to complain about!
Sure; because what sane person would use Space Magic Super abilities, Space Magic Grenades, and Space Magic Melee attacks in a Sci-fi game built around Space Magic Abilities when they have two weak Primay Weapons to use instead?
I mean, what draw could there be in actually using Space Magic in a Space Magic game?
Pfft... amateurs.

Hmmm, last I recall, Destiny is a First Person SHOOTER with "space magic" to differentiate itself from other FPS.
-
Read the back of the game case or any type of description of what Destint was billed/marketed to be. Destiny is (or at least was supposed to be) way more than just a "shooter with a little space magic". It was supposed to be much, much closer to an MMORPGFPS, than the "generic shooter with a little space magic" that Bungie has turned it into over the last four years.
-
I noticed how you still have FPS in that description; thank you for reinforcing my point.
-
Actually, your whole point is a vastly oversimplified misdirection and was easily defeated as such by my reply.
-
Haha. Actually, my argument was that, at it's core, Destiny is a First-Person Shooter. Ergo, the underlying mechanic to the game is it's gunplay. Destiny is not Skyrim or any other First-Person RPG. Your reponse to the game being supposedly touted as a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying First Person Shooter only reaffrims that. I'll even break it down via English grammer: Shooter - This word is the noun. All other words refine, or add detail to this noun. Therefore, at it's most simplistic base, Destiny is a shooter. First-Person - Compound Adjective defining what type of shooter it is. In this case, the game take place from a first-person point of view. I could go even further but that would become redundant. My argument was simply that you tried to define Destiny as a game of "space magic" (as opposed to a game where the primary purpose was to shoot things). You simplified what game Destiny purports to be however, you did so wrongly. I corrected you. You attempted to correct me and in doing so, confirmed my assessment (albeit, unknowingly) that Destiny is a shooter.

It also has all the other elements, ie space magic is intrinsic in the design. Its not just or even primarily an fps. If fps is your limit then thats an issue for you.

Lmao didn't say there was anything wrong with using abilities but people better get used to not having them every 25 seconds
-
I'm a 1.1 KD player with abilities every 25 seconds and a 1.1 KD player with abilities every 90 seconds, like I was in the beta, but I prefer having supers and abilities more often because it's way more fun and exciting in my opinion.
-
Yea, who needs supers and grenades anyway when you can just shoot in the enemies direction and get a kill
