and op shotgun kills are identical to handcannon kills

Teamshot spam? You've played a game that requires team shot, right? Like one where your opponent doesn't die instantly from being hit by anything.
Teamshot spam? You've played a game that requires team shot, right? Like one where your opponent doesn't die instantly from being hit by anything.
Yeah, Halo and OW. You can still have a 1v1 D2 isnt. Heck, if d2 was 100 cbmm and no skill was involved in matchmaking, it would have more lopsided games than d1 Teamshotting is there for people who can't get a kill they need to outnumber a opposing force Sad

1v1 in a team match has always been the worst strategy in halo games that matter. 1v1 BR fights shouldn't happen at the top of the skill gap at least in H3.

Depends on the map gamemode. At high level play, 1v1's happen but thats because everyone is strategically positioned where if you didn't kill this guy guy quickly, you would get overrun and lose. But thats a matter of skill In d2, the best player can go against the worst player and would still get teamed up due to the ttk, sprint, ads and health mechanics. If they removed sprint or take halo 5 sprint mechanic and maybe the ads mechanic, this game format would work. But it doesnt ATM. So team shooting is going to be ramptant

Beats an environment where the first shot wins almost all engagements outside of OHKO/ splash abilities.
Beats an environment where the first shot wins almost all engagements outside of OHKO/ splash abilities.
Doesnt happen in d1, you got confused with call of Duty

I've spent enough time at the top of D1's "skill gap" to know what I'm talking about. The game is rubbish and no good H3 player respects it.

it was more fun, but the skill gap was roughly in the same place. Combine that with a higher variety of weaponry due to a lack of meta information available and you had a fairly different environment.

Landing headshots in Destiny is crazy easy with any gun. It's not skill we're talking about, but enjoyment. using those guns as a meta was more fun than using stickies and sidearms. Both are equally as easy.

It all blends due to a low skill ceiling if the player is competent (or cares) enough.
It all blends due to a low skill ceiling if the player is competent (or cares) enough.
But there wasntna low skill ceiling before. Thats the thing. Now it does with sidearms and stickies

Fine, whatever.
