Not even a pun. A Minuet is not really even closely pronounced like A Minute, and a Minuet is a song... sooo..... what?

 • Please enlighten me as to how the pronunciations are so radically different. Sometimes you've gotta just take life less seriously especially when it's related to a video game

 •
Not really even closely pronounced...
Your words there. Yet you've just shown that there one syllable different. Also, minute as an adjective is pronounced "my-nyoot" which is also very close to minuet. I'm not sure if you quite grasp how puns work but don't worry I have a plethora of them.

 • would have accepted a pun based on my-nyoot version of spelling "minute" with the word "Minuet." Unfortunately OP went with 1/60th of an hour version of minute and it fails. I'm really confused at one thing, and that's the adamant support of this non-joke.

 • People like puns. I do a weekly pun based on Xurs inventory and it ends up trending every week haha Also, just for you:
The Most Pun Hand Cannon As classic and regal as the married couple's minuet Though its usefulness would seem minute, And it's kill time is at least a full minute, there are those who vehemently defend it
• Are you joking? Minuet is literally "minute" with the "e" and "t" swapped. If you don't find it humorous then fine, but you'd have to be blind to not see how this is a pun.

 • swapping letters around changes how it sounds, therefore not a pun. It's really pretty simple. It may have started out funny how many people got on OP's jock for misusing the word, but at this point it's getting amusing how many are trying to defend this crap non-joke/non-pun.

 • A pun can be a play on words, it isn't restricted to simply different meanings of the word. Something like "Haydn go seek" or "Handel with care" are a few examples of this. If you can't see this, then I really don't know what to say. Funny or not, what OP said is a pun, and that is a fact.

 • You broke your own definition in your examples you fool. Yours ARE actual puns. There are several criteria for a possible pun, this hits NONE of them. The closest it gets is having most of the same letters, that is NOT A PUN. I'm sorry. The end. Yours were great though.
