Note: This is NOT Marksman's or Gambler's dodge, and seems to only be available when using Arc Staff
It may be a bit hard to see but the Lethal Current perk timer begins when ever the movement show in the gif occurs in the gameplay
Lethal Current: After dodging your arc staff attacks twice (lasts about 4 seconds)
Dodges happen at these part in the video:
0:13
0:18
0:37
With each of the clips the timer for Lethal shows up/starts up again after the movement if the gifs is done. It's worth mentioning that the dodge can go through Titan barriers.
My name is Byf Confirmed that you have unlimited dodges in his video (Skip to 1:45): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJEIpwYnDco
I could be wrong about this but I thought I'd share this anyway. Arcstrider is looking good for PvP. Let's hope the same can be said for PvE
First video belongs to Futurefoe and the second one belong to My name if Byf. Not sure where the gameplay came from (Gamestop I think).
#Edit: Just so you know Deadly reach last about 5 seconds. Just noticed this now.

Actually, that first action was a dodge. I'm wondering if Lethal Current is the counter to Fist of Panic. If the Hunter can dodge during the initial impact of Fist of Panic and then attack the Titan twice immediately after that might give the Hunter a counter to that stupid ability. You may need to time it perfectly but it might work.

Also notice how the Hunter didn't get oneshot by the Titan's super, but also didn't do any damage to the Titan with that first attack.

9 RepliesWas Arcstrider not available to play at E3? How do we have no video of it in the hands of a player?
-
Gameplay of the Arcstrider shows that these crazy moves are innate to your movement. They don't consume your dodge charge.
-
nice. what i want to know is that ranged attack on the super is. looks like a wave.

The video said book of shadows not book of sorrows smh

It's wizard magic

3 RepliesHonestly, the Lethal Current ability doesn't make much sense. When you follow up a dodge with an attack in the gameplay, it doesn't use any less super energy. So what does it mean when it says your arc staff "attacks twice"? Is it only useful against stronger enemies, and we just can't see the combo happening because your attacks one-hit everyone in PvP anyway?
-
1 ReplyNow THAT actually looks like an amazing poledancing move

Edited by eternalazhrei: 6/14/2017 3:28:16 PMI'm just hoping that that stunning melee works on bosses. It's the only way that I can see the subclass would be applicable in boss fights. Otherwise you might as well just run Gunslinger with 6 shooter.

5 RepliesEdited by fortunatedad: 6/14/2017 3:23:36 PMThis may have been stated elsewhere, but the 'shadestep' for the hunter looks more like a strafe to me. Not a bad thing, just an observation. What is the hunter ability actually called in d2? And nice post by the way. Something positive and fun. Gg

3 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 6/14/2017 9:03:15 AMIsn't that just part of the super animation? Kinda like any Sword you use D1 when you just mash the trigger? Most melee weapons in D1 have a 3 hit combo with each strike animated differently (bladedancer blade, relic sword, exptic swords). I guess the staff thing is just to make it look stylish and fancy.
