Something tells me Arcstrider movement is going to be very similar to Arkham Knight during combat. Being able to chain hits and whip around things. If Agility actually becomes a relevant stat combined with this thing, then who the hell is even going to be able to hit you.

Which means that it will once again be relegated to add duty only, where voidwalkers, dawnblades, sunbreakers, sentinels, gunslinger, nightstalkers, and EVEN stormcallers (who have a mid-range super) will be applicable to bosses. Strikers are only other subclass that will come to know how useless a DoT, melee/close range only super really is. Because boss AoE will pummel anybody trying to play Arcstrider or Striker and actually be effective in those encounters. Unless of course Bungie has found SOME way of actually keeping them both alive aside from "lots of flips". Basically, the risks heavily outweigh the rewards.

Assuming they will still stick to the same slow moving insta-kill close range attacks.

Well, it looks like we'll be faster, but the combination of close range, low damage, and long super are what are really gonna do it. There's a fair few nice fixes that could work to make the super viable though, so I'm really hoping to be surprised next weekend.
