No. The way to solve vault space issues is to stop hording unused exotics or copies of the same legendary weapon or armor because there's one perk that's slightly different. Here's a tip, if it's exotic and you rarely use it, dismantle it. If it's legendary and you can't remember the last time you used it, dismantle it. You people who label yourselves as "collectors" have a f***ing problem, and it's not with the amount of vault space.

Dismantle unused 400 light exotic. Then the next weapon balancing patch comes through and something becomes viable again. Buy it back from Kiosk at 320 light with a high glimmer price tag AND an exotic shard. THEN you'll need to use another exotic shard to infuse some other 400 light weapon into it to restore it to what it was when you dismantled it. What a great system!

Well seeing as how I've got dozens of exotic shards and am constantly getting 400 light items, then yes, it's a wonder system, you twit.

Is it the collector's problem or is it the developer who made a game encouraging collecting and didn't give enough space to collect? If this game wasn't SO loot-based and reward-driven, I'd agree with you. But you can't tell players to earn rewards and collect your favorite sets of this or that and then turn around and say "yeah but obvs delete that shit after three months". Sorry, but if I've got a problem because I want to collect loot, that's Bungie's issue for making a game that encourages it.

It's not loot-based in a sense that you should be keeping and storing every little thing. It's loot-based in a sense that nearly anything you do rewards loot that is used to progress and become stronger.

Edited by FromNowOn: 4/16/2017 7:54:44 PMEvery little thing would be nearing thousands of slots. We're talking one armor/weapon item a week! 52 weeks per year 2 years and 31 weeks of Destiny = 135 weeks If you saved ONE item per WEEK you'd be at 135 items... Which is almost 30 over the current limit. (Not to mention by its end it will be 156 weeks) So you're telling me that in an admittedly loot-based shooter you aren't supposed to be able to keep even just ONE THING PER WEEK?!?! Gimme a break! No one's asking to be able to hold everything in their vault... But at least expand as the content expands... Isn't that just common sense?!?!
-
I can't tell you the number of weeks I DID NOT save a weapon or armor piece. That's because I delete things THAT I DON'T NEED.
-
So you delete everything then...
-
I want you to walk around your home and throw away everything you haven't used in the last week. You're cool with that right?

Im not gonna dismantle an exotic i have an Ornament on that i can't get back, i don't have the money to buy treasure boxes to reget an ornament and i have a chance at getting again. and yes i have 4 of the same pair of gauntlets but they have reload for each type of weapon i use for each activity i do. i don't just use the same stuff for every activity! Thats boring AF

So you put an ornament on an exotic you don't even use? That's your own freaking fault. Besides, ornaments can be required from the silver dust kiosk. Oh look! Yes, yet another useful kiosk. Thank you, Bungie.
