If the first was any example, it won't even be close.

Bungie has quite a bit ridding on this one. They have the potential to loose everything if not released this year. Rise of iron was originally supposed to be 2 but pushed it back.

I'm gonna hold off on it until I see some gameplay, but honestly, the destiny concept is solid. The gunplay is fun, there's a lot of lore, all that. It's execution was what killed it

The lore being so distant killed it for me. Then the shit story with its famous tagline. Then when all my grinding was made pointless. I'm waiting til year 2 and getting game with all dlc IF they learned from their mistakes.

Yup, I won't be buying Destiny 2 day one, I quit Destiny when HoWs dropped, and did not buy the overpriced Taken King, if they pull that one again it's no sale here.
-
I bought TTK sadly ); I didn't even play it that long either. I did the raid twice or so and quit in like Oct 2015. I really liked HOW time when everything was relevant. Kinda like how they're doing now, but it's a bit late for that.

I have a few friends that bought TTK when it dropped, most admit it was an overpriced cash grab. As things stand I'm not buying Destiny 2, I'll see what they announce in the reveal. However they might not give any info on DLC. If they give us the choice of when we buy, like every other game does, that will be a step in the right direction imo. If we get restricted when content drops, like it has been, I'm not buying the game. They have the chance to right the wrongs.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too, but it wasn't nearly as good as t could've been
