Nice compilation! I'm excited for Destiny 2 to be honest. I've spent a ton of time in the first one (141+ days). I know most people in this forum section have mixed/negative views of the game, but it's something I've enjoyed.
The CoD franchise going back to WWII is interesting. I haven't bought a CoD game since the original Black Ops, but I may have to look into this if it's true. I'll definitely have to keep my eyes on this one before making any decisions though.

Destiny had tons of potential...Then they threw it all away in favor of microtransactions.
-
I never had an issue with the microtransactions. I have to really like a cosmetic item to even consider a microtransaction. Honestly, I never put any thought into what Bungie used them for. I just played the game because I found it to be fun.
-
The problem I had was that it gave bungie an excuse to not make new content. "Hey, we can sell rng packs and make money, let's only release one small dlc per year."
-
They've constantly been making content. It's apparently called Destiny 2.
-
Yes, but you can't put all blame on bungie. Activision had a say in where the game went.
-
Well, yes, that's a given. The first mistake was letting Activision be the producer.
-
They needed extra funds to make destiny. Activision offered it.
-
I'm sure it wasn't their only choice, but if it was, and I were them, I would have waited for someone else. Activision has a bad rep, have for a long time.
-
Who knows the exact circumstances.
-
I can agree with that. There needed to be more transparency from Bungie on what the plan was. Hopefully they've learned from that mistake, but we'll have to wait and see.
-
Destiny is a franchise with potential in my opinion. I spent a lot of time in the first game as well so I'm not opposed to keeping tabs on the sequel!
-
I'm just hoping they provide better support and limit the time between content drops. I really lost interest when they started having so many local fireteam issues. I played from day 1 with my girlfriend and it really dampened the experience for both of us.
-
I was never disillusioned by the time between content drops, probably because I never played Destiny as religiously as so many people on this website do. What I really wanted Bungie to nail is the story and structure, both were consistently sporadic in delivery and varied in quality from content drop to content drop.
-
I agree, the holes in the story made it extremely difficult to follow. I understand they had lore on the grimoire cards, but honestly I'd rather have the during the missions/cut scenes. Another option would be to provide an in-game grimoire book to allow people to read it without having to log onto the app/website.
