I don't really see any big problems other than some minor buffs. Like a buff to orb generation and movement speed for the subclass with the lowest armour rating. Maybe a nerf to target detection while blade dancing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a hunter main but I have to admit that their is a lot of broken mechanics (tethered through walls, Titans can be fast as or faster than hunters, stormtrance is op with exotic that grants super perk and the cross map chain lighting kills, chain lightning from storm and zhalo go through walls, weapon meta in general, and lastly matador 64) but it's likely that none will ever be truly fixed with d2 out in the horizon

And that is either the saddest part of all, or the greatest Glimmer of hope. (See what I did there? Ah heh, heh, aaaaaah.... *puts gun in own mouth*) Anyway, maybe they'll fix some of this stuff in Year 4. Maybe not. But when you compare the utility of every subclass in the game, BladeDancer falls terribly short of the rest in PVE. I STILL haven't found anybody that has answered the question of using Bladedancer in the Wrath of the Machine, which was actually designed in the hopes that ALL subclasses would be useful. I've got a few ideas to try and make it useful, but on the whole... it doesn't look like it will be. That's the sort of problem I'm trying to outline when I go over the lack of synergy and GOOD builds for Bladedancer.

You could use arc blade with showstopper and hungering blade to protect the snipers and rest of the siege engine point but that's it. But hey, I hope that helps and here's hoping to a hopefully good year (and yes, I see what you did there you clever bastard)

I had thought of the Zamboni part too, yeah, and I might check to see how much damage you can do to Aksis with Arcblade if you used it similarly to Dark Drinker. Maybe it'll be worth something. Maybe add clearing for the second Vosik fight? And add clearing for Aksis Phase 1?

Haven't thought about boss damage (I usually use goldengun with celestial nighthawk) but now I want to test it out with a nightstalker
-
Test it out with a Nightstalker how? You mean the shadowshot weakening for allies? If so, yeah, that's incredibly powerful. If not, then what do you mean?
-
Night stalkers super is shadowshot but yeah that's what I meant. The crit damage from shadowshot plus a flurry of arc blade swipes has got to be op

Edited by eternalazhrei: 1/24/2017 3:33:02 PMPossibly, but remember that in order to buff damage they decided to make Encore put up damage after a kill. With nothing around Aksis to kill at that point... ArcBlade is still gonna do minimal damage. Compare it to Sunbreaker. People have done analyses on how much damage it does to Aksis, and said the only way it's worth it is if you have sunspots on, and even then it's not as great as using weapons like Outbreak Prime or Dark Drinker. Even with Shadowshot on Aksis, I doubt Arcblade will do much good. Also, I DID say it was shadowshot.
