I have often wondered about pvp. I played battlefield 4 with 64 people in a match never experienced lag. Destiny in a 3v3 the other players lag out. Is it their internet or bungies servers. Just asking

Destiny is P2P networking and BF is dedicated servers. Bungie's servers only serve game assets and account data. And to be clear, just because you play one or a few BF matches and don't see somebody lagging, doesn't mean nobody was lagging. You just didn't happen to see or notice the it. Second, their setup is based on regional server connections. That means somebody in Russia isn't necessarily playing someone in the US and if they did, it would be because they were in a team and they would experience lag while other people probably wouldn't notice as much. It still does not eliminate it. More importantly, the only way they can ensure consistent connections with players in 64-player matches is to have lots of dedicated servers, spread well around the world. Because it does no good to have a dedicated server if players are 1000+ miles away from it and each other.

It's bungie's shit setup. You could have the best net offered and their servers will screw it up by making you deal with folks in Europe or south america.

Sure seems like it. I was recently red barring in WoTM for no reason at all. I sit literally two feet from my Verizon fios router and live in the northeastern USA. My husband was playing on another floor in the raid with me and had green bar. Other people in the raid were also lagging. Ultimately we figured out it seemed like it was caused by butt loads of engrams on the field. OP may not be cheating, sh*t happens sometimes.
