This game will do better than the last, even with BF1.
-
obviously it will do better considering it's on ps4, but the timing of the release is still terrible for sales, especially considering cod comes out just a week or 2 later. also was hoping they would fix the little things like 3rd person titan transition animations
-
They considered adding an option, so if it's not in the game already, it will likely be patched in. BF1 probably won't affect sales for Titanfall. Two different shooters for two different fan bases. And also, I'm pretty sure Call of Duty is going to bomb in sales this year.
-
people always say that about cod, but it's honestly too big to fail for now. it'll take at least 2 more infinite warfares in a row to hurt the series badly, and considering the next one will be a modern game, i imagine that will help the series get back on track. also cod 4 will sell millions alone, so cod will probably be fine, and considering it takes from the same general audience as titanfall, i can see it being a problem

It's gotten quite a bit of hate. Like, the most any game has gotten ever (the reveal trailer is like the 4th most disliked video on YouTube). I'm not sure it will do so well. But maybe you're right. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
-
Just cause it's got a lot of hate going on doesn't mean it won't sell well. I guarantee 25-50% of the people that hit dislike still end up buying it.
-
Meh, you're probably right -_-
-
M8 they fixed all problems.
-
Why would it be delayed?
-
He wanted it delayed to accomodate for the time schedule, with it releasing very close to Battlefield 1. It could hurt sales, but I think it'll be fine.
-
They aren't really even the same player base though. They're just both EA games.
-
Yeah, but I'm sure there are people who still want to play both of them, and can only afford one. Battlefield being the more established franchise might be the one to draw im more of a crowd. I guess we'll just see, but I think both games will be fine.
