They want there to be a trade-off. High impact, no short zoom option. That's not a bug, it's a feature.

Did you think people thought that? And who said that they don't want short zoom options on high impact snipers? Who? Source? And there is a "trade-off"? They have nerfed snipers two times now. Lower handling, higher zoom on low zoom scopes, lower damage on 1k stare family snipers and higher flinch. The trade-off is there bru, it is a reason shotguns are running the crucible, even highskilled players can't use snipers in 3's anymore. Just look at the MLG event. It is NOT a healthy change. I can agree with it all, if they just gave us low zoom scopes on high impact snipers. Trade-off my ass.

I was being sarcastic. What I am saying is, they won't take your suggestion because they did it that way on purpose. It's not like they overlooked the scopes, they did it by design, so what use is your complaining about it, especially for a weapon that hasn't released yet?
-
Why do people complain? Why did tripleWRECK make a vid about ghostbullets? Why? You know why.
-
Bad example. What triplewreck posted about is, in fact, a bug. At least in so far as Bungie hasn't addressed it or explained it. You picked something they did on purpose, explained they did on purpose, and hasn't been field tested yet. Apples and oranges, man.

Edited by Thomas: 9/19/2016 2:53:57 PMHahah what? Get a grip. The scope is not a brand new one? Omg, this guy. They have explained it, watch some PD podcast please. Get informed bro. It seems like you think everything they do is correct and the best way. I'm sure they try, but the community have cried about alot of things that they have done. We even got lied to by bungie, I love them, but please have some opinions of your own.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I certainly don't think Bungie is always right. In fact, I'm not even sure they're right about the sniper damage nerf, but they have explained their intent there. What triplewreck documented has not been addressed by Bungie. It wasn't simple weapon bloom, at it was occurring even in circumstances where the weapon was settled, and bloom should have been a nonfactor. He demonstrated a systemic problem with hit detection that we all know about, but Bungie seems to deny. By the way, I do listen to the PD podcast, and while those guys are pretty insightful, they aren't always right. That's beside the point though. You seem to think that because I don't agree with you, I must be ill informed. That's a cop out. There is another possibility, you're just wrong. You're arguing minutia in the context of weapons you haven't seen the wild yet, designed specifically for an intentional change. There is no way Bungie is going to give this any consideration. You're screaming into the darkness, and being blockheaded about it. In any case, I'm done. My point was that this thread was pointless, so I don't know why I'm still wasting time on it.

That may be your issue, so I will cut you some slack. Bungie has told us what the ghost bullets are all about. The accuracy is in the range stat, so the shorter the range, the quicker the accuracy cone grows. Inside that cone it is RNG where the bullet goes. Bungie do not deny this. Do you follow? It may be a bit complicated for you. It's beside the point, but you are right that the PD guys are not always right, kudos bro! I simply just don't think that you are informed enough for this discussion. If you think that this sniper is designed specifically for an intenional change you are way out there. People can still hear you in the dark, they just can't see you cause gents like you keeps throwing shade. I hope you are done, because what you are doing is wasting time. You are not saving me anything and as long as some read this it is not pointless to me. Have an awesome day kid :)
