it would be fine, if they would:
1- give back triple jump
2- fix bugs that hinder genji (sword slashes not registering, bad dash coding, etc)

If they give him back his triple jump, then they need to make it so he can't jump again for 3 seconds after his feet touch the ground. People that use Genji don't do anything but jump around constantly while spamming his alternate fire. His jump needs to be nerfed some way or another.

Edited by Awful Cleric: 9/8/2016 12:18:58 PMTriple jump isn't a combat maneuver, it's to pull off long flanks without swift strike. Now that the projectile size is bigger, Genji is more effective using his primary fire and then pouncing with swift strike anyway. His tri-shot is only for close combat, where Genji should not be in very long unless he has his ultimate and his team has killed the tanks.

There still needs to be a way to balance him out, his jumping in general is what makes him effective at the most. The constant jumping while in combat however is something that needs to be tweaked.

Edited by Awful Cleric: 9/8/2016 3:46:09 PMHow about a short cooldown after double jumps before Genji can throw shurikan or deflect? This would make him less effective at short ranges and force people to play him the way he was meant to be played. By dishing out decent damage and finishing the squishys off by chaining swift strike. Perhaps, if this changed was made, triple jump could be added back in. The other changes I think were neccecary, buy triple jump is such a useful maneuver for flanking, and I cannot tell you how many tines I've killed myself thinking I could triple jump.

That's more than my idea, it would work. I actually almost died thinking I could jump over the wall on Hollywood at the first objective. They could take away all the nerfs they had and implement your idea and I'd be cool with it.
