A topic I'd like to see discussed is the current state of the community. We know it's in a rough spot.

I'm going to have to agree with Draken on this one. Both interesting and difficult to do. Still.. interesting nonetheless.
-
I'd definitely say it's better than it was a year ago....
-
I agree.
-
This would be really interesting, but would be a difficult one to do. To discuss the community would be to discuss the state of humanity. Let's face it, Destiny is a world, with different places and different races, and the people who inhabit that world come from every walk of life, in all parts of the (real) world. What goes on in this forum is a reflection of the state of the writers, their moods, their defensiveness, their cowardice, their rage, their anger, and (thankfully) their joy. Should the discussion include such topics as etiquette, ethics, respect, tolerance, acceptance, and the lack of any and all of the above? I think so. But to what degree? We're addressing every ethos on the planet. One man's good is another man's evil. Basically, it will turn into a philosophical discussion, and one that we would need to be very careful of.
-
Very well said, Draken.
-
Thank you. :)
-
Yeah, what you said
-
We do talk about some of the concerns here. Just maybe not in a personal individual way. I for one don't feel the need to trash talk anyone who can't defend themselves. But I do feel it's important that we discuss general concerns or highly charged subjects such as nerfs or content.
-
Not saying to trash talk the community, I just wanna hear your thoughts about the community. Especially since the update about hunters really angered a lot of people
-
We have discussed some of the changes in past podcasts. I know my comment, "I think trip mines are OP and should have been nerfed" went over real well. lol
-
I just wanna hear what you guys think about the community, don't tell me you browse the forums and say this is a very unified community
-
Now THAT would be an interesting discussion.
-
Ok I understand what you are asking.

Edited by Orpheus49: 8/2/2016 7:49:26 PMRegarding the statement on the classes Hunters have perks that enhance gunplay through accuracy and handling, such as Quickdraw and chain of woe, the meta has consistently seen special weapons stealing the show due to the lack of powerful primaries to counter snipers, and the fact that the last word is the only real thing that can go against a shotguns consistently So with a meta where primaries see little usage, what good are perks that enhance gunplay when you can just use a one hit weapon with few counters? Titans are similar, they are the best and controlling traffic and denying routes, what good is controlling against pushes when everyone is camping with a sniper? Regarding the community I'd also like to see you speak about people being locked out of endgame activitie, before I beat the raid with DemonicDmouse, I was kicked off of most hard mode raid teams simply because they thought I couldent handle my own without and emblem. What do you think could be added to the sherpas help the community? Or how can we get everyone involved? Thay is what I'd like to see
-
Well, we talked about that (end game activities) in this episode. Clans and LFG and how it impacts the gamer. How Bungie could do better in game and out for clans and help for the community. Did you listen to this podcast? We didn't talk about Sherpas, but that is a good point. Perhaps show them as more available for those looking for help.

I'm glad you adressed it, but like I said, you can't look around the forums and say we are united. I'd love to hear your ideas on how to bring us together
-
Ok. I hear you.
-
Yeah but hunters are almost as bad as titans now, nerfing does not create diversity, it limits diversity
-
How do you mean. I think both are effective depending on the subclass.
-
That'd be an interesting conversation, to say the least.
