I'm really curious...Since those of you that are part of the dtc are friends with cozmo, if not at least aquaintances...what questions and answers have you asked and recieved from him/bungie about the many issues and state of destiny?
Has the dtc brought up any of the many issues to cozmo or other bng members when you guys/gals play pvp with them?
Since you guys are friends, how does the dtc plan to remain objective and focused on bringing positive change for destiny and the community and bring such needed answers back to the community?
Or is the dtc just a special members only club that doesn't dare ask the needed and hard questions of bungie (like sols used to, before the ttk flip flop)...a club that only sweeps the issues under the rug in favor of exclusive playtime with bungie employees...a club that will continue to throw money at the screen and justify bungies actions against its customers?
Feel free to tell your club to hurl insults at me as usual or ignore my questions as usual or both. You know I'll be right here.

I'm sure they can't ask him questions dude, coz could get fired for giving away info he is not suppose to. They just play because they are old friends. Chill out

Edited by CarnivalLaw: 8/3/2016 10:25:27 PM
Wonder if that's because Sols and the rest of the club are Cosmo's friends
Why go there? For the record, I have never run a single minute of Destiny with Cozmo. I've never spoken with him. Most of us haven't. In fact, Sols may be the only one of the DTC that has! Isn't it just as likely, more likely even, that Cozmo showed up to add the SRL to the list of stuff Sols posted on the upcoming changes/additions to the game? No need for you to buy into a divisive, incendiary conspiracy theory, unless you want to. There are many here who thrive on fanning the flames that should have been extinguished long ago.
-
Flames that should have been extinguished? Surely you don't mean the flames of discontent? Because removing those would make this Germany circa 1942...oh wait, that's exactly what you want. Face it champ, Bungie brought this all on themselves and you and the rest of the gang aren't going to change that. Not even with your "final solution".

You are a sad, bitter person, Casey. I feel sorry for you.

Edited by ProYunk: 8/11/2016 2:18:03 PM
You are a sad, bitter person, Casey. I feel sorry for you.
The thing that perplexes me the most about Casey is he has three 335 characters. He not only still plays, but is completing end game content. He has unlinked his account from his bnet profile.... But he's playing both sides of the fence. At least with Mal and Krazy those guys have actually quit playing. Casey is acting like a rapë victim, but is bringing the alcohol, lube, pink fluffy hand cuffs and kama sutra to the party.
sorry for the off colored comparison, but it's accurate??
Nailed it, PY. His behavior is confusing, indeed.

Lol bump

Says the guy who wants every person with a less than favorable opinion of Bungie and Destiny to be removed because he can't handle it. Yeah, I'm the sad one lol

Your reading comprehension is pitiful, if that's what you think I have written.

Ok champ

Could be, not sure though.

Edited by ProYunk: 8/4/2016 5:10:40 AM
I have tried very very hard to stay neutral on this matter. I have failed miserably at times and made comments for which I have apologised as I do try to see all points of view despite my personal antipathy towards little favoured cliques. I see that Cosmo has commented on this post and we all know that any Bnet post on which we see that Bungie replied will get far more comments and views than the majority of posts which don't. Wonder if that's because Sols and the rest of the club are Cosmo's friends 🤔 Can't sit on the fence any more
Oh cmon man... Cozmo gets slammed for not being involved.. And then when he does start commenting, he gets blamed for playing favorites?! The DTC is on its 17th -blam!-ing episode. It trends every week on the forum that Coz moderates. You think this is some weird ponzi scheme to get Sols more bumps on a meaningless forum?! The DTC brings different guardians together from different areas and backgrounds with different preferences. It's popular. It should be popular. It's unifying the community. Sols has brought people in that disagreed with him. There's no favorites, just people who enjoy destiny talking destiny. Cozmo Should be commenting on and encouraging this stuff because it's the most proactive and positive thing to hit the forums yet.
i am looking forward to the guardian council too
Sols has argued for in game optional matchmaking for literally years. While he continues that fight the DTC also organized a community raid day for people who haven't raided because of no fireteams or OMM. The DTC is arguing for change and making do with what we have. That's winning.

Edited by TheShadow: 8/4/2016 1:41:42 PM
Oh cmon man... Cozmo gets slammed for not being involved.. And then we he does start commenting, he gets blamed for playing favorites?!
I don't look at this as playing favoritism, I look at this as being disrespectful to the community. It's straight out ( wrong ) This is Cozmo's post last month. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/208948228?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 So here is Cozmo showing a little Communication to the community. Now what did it take for Cozmo to even make a post like this knowing it's something he can do anytime he wants? My guess is how the community has been pissed off. The next question is, why does it take the community to get pissed off just to get any real response from Cozmo other then... Ill bring this to the Devs. I'll add this to the wish list and so on. The one liners that literally serve no purpose in helping anyone at all. Does Cozmo ever come back on this form making a post on giving any info like saying, hey guys! I took some of your info and brought it to the Devs and this the info they gave me? How long has Cozmo been a community manager? How many times has he ever gave any info on any questions in a year on questions that have been asked for an entire year? How many post has he made to make any effort on communication with the community? How many time has he just gave one liners? How come it is taking the community to continuously to keep making post about not having communication and it's been going on for 2 years now? The excuse on gamers saying Cozmo can only do so much is beyond ridiculous knowing he has shown he can actually do a lot more and has already proven this. A way to allow if approved by the community to try to establish a better form of communication. Why as a community manager hasn't he taken that opportunity into his own hands especially knowing he reads a lot of post and replies to them? This is pure laziness as a community manager knowing this is Bungie's own forum. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/210048271/0/0 Will I get a reply to this post? Most likely not. It makes you wonder where certain people morals actually stand, and how respect to the community has not been shown. Yet will make replies like...
You’re the most important part of what we do and there are more people listening to what you say now more than ever.
Do you know how many times we have read that same line in the last 2 years? So who are these people because everyone knows it's not the higher ups. So who else is there that actually gives 2 cents about the community? What do they listen to? What do they have to share with us? What are their concerns about the community? What do they plan on doing if anything at all? We know nothing about the unknowns that we keep hearing about only as unknowns that never have any form of communication on this form alone. So in all when it comes to communication there is none on this form, but Cozmo has time to spend time with a gamer that has been banned multiple times on this forum and Reddit, but doesn't have anytime to make an attempted to give some simple feedback to the community on our feedback from asking simple questions to the Devs? Personally, I think someone needs to get their priority's straight and show the community some respect other then giving one liners... Yeah yeah yeah, go ahead and defend Cozmo I can deal with it. Just know one thing and this goes to everyone. (You created this forum to be in it's current state by allowing things to be ignored.) by simple staying silent and not pushing for something that should of been done 2 years ago. What makes it worse is that some of you are adults that are really into this game and take it seriously, yet you refuse to look for a way to make things better other then for yourself. Then you go about and act like everything is ok as long as I support Bungie. Ill get that attention I want from Cozmo when he says ill bring this to the Devs. At this point I don't care even if Cozmo thinks he needs to defends his reasons. There is no excuse for him not to put more of an actual effort into this forum knowing he preaches about things that are always a (UNKNOWN...) Sorry Sols, but the community is not just about helping gamers run a raid knowing 99% of gamers know how to do that already on this forum. I'm sure it's appreciated by new gamers or maybe a few that have had a hard time finding a group. This isn't about the info you share that can be helpful. This is about info that hasn't been shared that would be helpful to the Entire community that isn't being shared and it's wrong leaving gamers hanging on info that has never been answered for 2 years now.
-
Ok, wow. I can't argue with that logic. This is true kinda
-
The funny part on all this. It's a simple thing to do, yet Bungie makes it harder then it is.
-
So this. Very good point. Whether or not if cozmos position was his choice or not...he's stuck with it. It's obvious he chooses to be lazy, just like bungie in making destiny.
-
Edited by ProYunk: 8/4/2016 5:09:02 AMTldr most of it. Cozmo does occasionally chime in with new or 'breaking' information... But I fully believe that has more to do with the fact that he was given the "OK" rather than him intentionally keeping us in the dark. If you think Deej and Cozmo are anything more than puppets you're wrong. Any angst you have towards Cozmo or Deej should probably be directed much higher up, because I can guarantee they have a very tight control on what information gets out. What magical fixes do you expect from the DTC? They set out with the intention of humanizing the community and to give honest feedback on current topics. They're doing both of those things. The DTC is FOR THE COMMUNITY not for audible hate messages to Bungie.
-
Edited by KrazyM82: 8/4/2016 12:18:20 AMThen why is it that every post regarding the Guardian Council is plagued with members of the dtc trying to throw a wrench in the only plan that would bring more and better communications between the devs, community and bungie? If the dtc is all about bringing guardians together like an lfg site...then the GC is the next step forward trying to bring guardians and bungie together...and it's very ironic the dtc is trying to prevent that! The dtc is not winning anything as they are not willing to put their money where their mouth is and close their wallets to bungie. As you have pointed out, this is a meaningless forum and the dtcs words are but dust in the wind as they have no bite without resolve or conviction.
-
Edited by X-LoganX: 8/4/2016 2:17:42 AMYou are incorrect here. Although I'm not a regular on the podcast I was on once and am a member of the DTC group and talk to many subjects that Solc, CL, and RWG have. I supported the GC on it's principle and defended it against people that did not read the proposal at all or didn't really understand it's goals (and safeguards) but decided to slam it or Mal anyway. I'm not a Mal fan and he knows it but for me and my opinion alone I thought that the GC proposal deserved merit. I chatted with Sols and CL about my reasonings for my supporting posts and they understood and were fine with me having my own opinion on the matter. So you can take your malice for DTC members and shove it. EDIT: Oh and by the way, I clicked with Sols and crew because (I felt and still do) because they speak the truth as I do with no cloak and dagger, no sidestepping and twisting words. It straight and blunt, factual and to the point. While most others play with words to twist a discussion to their favor without having anything to back them up.
-
Never singled you out. So no, don't think I'll shove it. Plenty of posts from dtc members trying to throw a wrench...take your pick.
-
If "throwing a wrench" = pointing out GC-sinking flaws, then yes, I throw wrenches. Duck!
-
Those are really small wrenches...you need to find some mushrooms! Btw...wish me luck on my vacation
-
Edited by ProYunk: 8/11/2016 12:53:13 PM
Those are really small wrenches...you need to find some mushrooms!
The biggest obstacles TGC has to face is ensuring Dev interaction, and ensuring there is no illusion or perception of special treatment. Those are large obstacles and shouldn't be minimized.
Btw...wish me luck on my vacation
Have fun!
-
I agree. If there is no direct dev interaction, then it will be a wash. Neutrality will be tricky too, but possible.
