That be a network stressor at work
Someone was cheating and kicked you on a whim!
But of course, bungie WONT tell you that

Is this true? Not sure about how the cheating works. Personally, shotgunned a person twice - zero health on his bar, and did not die immediately, took a fraction of time, but the slow death was noticeable, enough that a tried to shoot again.

Ant eater = network stressor But what you describe as happening sounds like you came across a streamer Streaming to twitch causes "accidental" bandwidth manipulation (think of it as a finite resource per game session) and instead of sharing it out equally amongst the players, a streamer will get more as they are streaming - which causes packet loss for everyone else But of course, no one opens up twitch in trials, streams to nobody, just to give themselves a competitive edge in the form of lag god pro. Just like bungie will naturally ban these cheaters - because they don't value free advertising of their product over your gameplay experience 😉

It's DDOSing, if that's what's happening, they do it allot in Trials. That's the main reason I don't step foot in there. However I don't think that's the cause here, everyone didn't play the same guy(s) at the same time, this is Bungie.

I wouldn't say its a ddos - a genuine ddos will shut down your game, take you to your systems home screen and log you out of your account. Its kinda the point of a ddos
