And, if I might ask, how old are you? I wanna figure out if this generation is even being taught, or if it was just the 20th Century generation.
I'm just shocked at how many people in my school don't even know what cursive writing is, or don't know how to read/write cursive. I was taught when I was homeschooled, but then when I got back into public school it wasn't even curriculum to teach cursive.

1 ReplyI was taught for one segment of my 2nd grade year,I never had to use it again so while I can still read it I can barely write it.

Sort of, I can write only my name. I used to know but forgot due to never actually USING it
-
Somewhat. I've forgotten some letters, but my normal handwriting is bad enough and fast enough that I can get away with just writing those ones normally
-
Ye, but it's awful

25. Not very well anymore, so I'll say no. I think it's kind of a useless skill anyway.

1 ReplyCan you write in binary?
-
We need a "Kind of" option. I can write cursive with some letters but not all.
-
Why would they teach it lmao? Not necessary, we have all this technology. Why cling on to old 13th century shit like cursive writing?
-
Seriously? It is the only way I write. It was a must in school. All reports were that way unless typed. No computers then. I'm 46 so I guess things change.
-
It wasn't emphasized for me, but is witches school systems multiple times. My cursive is shit because I so rarely actually write by hand now. I still enjoy handwritten nots and letters because of the feeling of personal care put into them, but they just aren't common anymore.
-
I know what it is but I don't use it.
