I was with you up until you labelled PvP'ers as "Cry babies".
It's not our fault you can't hack it in the Crucible (and evidently the raid lol... why are people still stuck on normal mode?)
To be perfectly blunt (and more civil) Bungie's insistence on maintaining perfect symmetry between PvE and PvP is completely asinine. I understand their reasons why, but in practice it's just not practical nor fun. Take the Thorn changes for example - aside from totally missing the mark yet again, they pretty much destroyed the gun for both modes and it's not even a year 2 weapon. The changes to aggressive ballistics have also negatively impacted many weapons harshly (most notably the Necrochasm and Vex Mythoclast).
Speaking of the Vex, what the hell Bungie? Thanks for furthering ruining an already troubled weapon.
But I digress, these changes they keep making are extremely annoying and rather than incentivise players to try new options, they simply clamp down on what's (overly) popular. Removing HCR from MIDA was really, really lame and took away a huge part of it's PvE utility. Now it's purely a speed weapon rather than a soloist's dream gun.
The Heavy & Special ammo changes are also frustrating. Rocket Launchers are already underused and machine guns were just fine.
Oh and the balance changes? Holy overreaction batman. Just like Hammers had their luster stolen, now Stormtrance is a pitiful shadow of its former self in PvE. I understand why they hit it, it really was obscene getting killed by someone in PvP, respawning, and then getting killed again by the same damn super. They could have simply reduced it's total maximum duration or made the energy change only affect PvP but nope, gotta keep everything the same. It was pretty cool being able to just light up an entire room with electricity and generate a tonne of orbs for the team (just like it was amazing throwing hammers and exploding everything, or generating near-infinite orbs with the bow) but well, we all know how Bungie feels about people having fun in their game by now don't we.

On your why do people still do normal raids. Some people just enjoy it more. More relaxed play style and less pressure.

Hacking in pvp

only 10 things I'd recommend changing to improve this game 1. Perks would be either PVE or PVP focused (if a perk is meant to help you in PVE that's what it will do If a person choses to use said item in PVP then that's their choice. Also the perk's effectiveness will be diminished in comparison example you do more dmg against enemies of the darkness while you retain your super obviously this perk would be useless in pvp or machine gun kills can return up to 4 ammo to reserves when killing a guardian kills it will only grant 2 ammo for non-guardian kills simply put it would only be half as effective 2. Player vs Player and Player vs Everything nerfs and buffs should differ from each other it shouldn't effect the other they are two separate styles of play this isn't HALO folks. 3. Ammunition Pick up would be more frequent and Ammo Synth timer would be reduced based on the type of Synth used primary 1min, special 2 min heavy 3 1/2 mins also heavy ammo synth sold by the gunsmith would be reduced 450glimmer 4. make item caps for consumables, & materials 999 of each and glimmer 100,000 and Legendary marks 750 (you can buy up to 5 items at max marks then just refill them again normally) 5. reduce dmg caused by lower tier PVE enemies against higher tier guardians if the guardian is max light or close to it vs a lv 2 vandal then we should appear as ???? to them as they did to us and do minimal dmg 6. engram drop rate in patrols would be higher, and enemies would have a chance to drop enemy specific loot Example fallen drops a fallen themed auto-rifle these would not be the same as strike loot to keep things unique. 7. strike specific weapons would come with a non rng damage perk apart from the the standard rng perks against the type of enemy that drops that weapon, an example, Treads Upon Stars scout rifle dropped from cabal themed strikes would come with the innate ability of Hannibal which would do bonus damage to Cabal. 8. nerf wire rifle aim assist, torch hammer splash dmg, add in reload and cool down/venting animation for enemies of the darkness and a 3 person tank 9. add in a armor display near factions and armor materials for sale at gunsmith Amanda would sell more blue ships and a unique legendary one 10. vault organizer function give ghost a little stun beam and all normal raids, nighfall and both POE's would have matchmaking
