Is PVE really that bad? I haven't been on due to work recently. Are raids rather more difficult?

Honestly, I've come so close to ding so many time when reviving a teammate. And this is when I jump in with full health. I used to be able to just jump in and jump out without attracting too much attention, but now I will have every enemy in the immediate area start targeting me. And for the ammo nerfs, now the boss DPS is down by a pretty fair amount. And all this is in PoE, where there are plenty of mobs to kill and take ammo.
-
you can still kill Golgoroth, Warpriest, and any other major boss quickly; i can sort of understand the ammo nerf in PvP and i can see where they were aiming at for PvE (making it so that you can't just stockpile ammo and hide in a corner and kill a boss) but i will admit that the reserve nerf was too extensive; 14 shots at max with 1000-Yard Stare sniper archetypes and a weird 17 shots with Spindle is barely much to work with, regardless if they upped the drop rates of special ammo. the same case goes for heavy weapons; 98 shots at max with Qullim's is staggeringly low and makes you hold onto it for the right moments (which what that was intended for) but that's only two magazines worth, and with how much health some of the PoE bosses have, it barely leaves a dent in their health

So the update was rather balance but the decrease in reserve impacts the game severely though there are so called "increase" ammo drops. Making dropping such as Warpriest health to 1/3 by first round rather difficult and so on.
-
I see the issue, can impact basically many casual players and also ruin the flow many had. This is going to cause many people to have certain set weapons again for many tasks, such as gally in the Y1 period. I've also heard though they did increase ammo drop rate, it is still pretty much insignificant, is this true?
-
It's not to noticeable. Pretty sure it was a bug, or a decimal misplacement.

Noted. If they reduced ammo this huge to the point where it has change the actual gameplay of pve quite a bit they should've countered this my decreasing ammo cool down time by say 2 min or so, though it still take several seconds to load up your inventory, I would rather remove one of the emotes on the keypad and set it as a hotkey for prefer ammo. Seems to be doable as sense I play a game like smite on Xbox where there change the controls drastically and button layouts within recent patches. I don't see anybody complaining about removing an emote slot for an ammo hotkey slot for improve overall PVE.
-
i feel like that situation should be that you hold select and you can hold select and then hold/press a certain button to use a certain ammo synth, though that would need some thought because a lot of other buttons do different things
-
that's rather a bit complicated though don't you think.
-
it's been a previous topic of discussion before, even way back in vanilla destiny i was just bringing it back up because it seems(?) doable but it would require a lot of effort in doing so, because you would find those players who (for some reason) wouldn't want to give up an emote slot for synths although the idea is far much better than anything i've seen in the past, and it makes the most sense at that

Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 4/14/2016 8:28:32 PMmaybe when you pull up your ghost he gives you an option synth ammo and it shows you cool down time. That'd be pretty smart.
-
That is a nice idea. I like it. Pop up Ghost:(PS) press and hold Left Arrow Key for Primary, press and hold Down Arrow Key for Secondary, press and hold Down Arrow Key for Heavy.
-
Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 4/14/2016 9:09:51 PMproblem is you need that to navigate up and down the options like bounty tracker, burn modifier and stuff.
-
Yup, I got excited and forgot about that.
-
Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 4/14/2016 9:17:06 PMI would say put it on the wheel of options right, all the ammo would be categorized under ammo synth, then use your RB to scroll through ammo synth options and hold trigger to synthesize.
-
what possible button could it be mapped to though?
-
Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 4/14/2016 8:42:01 PMlol IDK a trigger maybe, or have us scroll down with keypad like when we check our bounties and click A or X which ever you prefer or controller you play.
-
that's a perfect idea actually holy crap
-
to bad it won't happen. R.I.P ideas
