Agreed. I just thought about this whilst reading the April update breakdown.
Bungie, what happened to no pay to win? Obviously this grab bag of random loot is not guaranteed for winning, but destiny's biggest selling point is the loot and the collection of that loot. Some people will spend hours, days, grinding to get that gear. How is it fair that someone with a deeper pockets will have better chances of obtaining the same gear?
The "win" part in destiny is getting that gear that your buddies haven't gotten yet. Seems like a pay to win situation if someone can just buy themselves all the new loot.

What happened to not pay to win. Its called, they lied. Or Bungie said they would just be cosmetic, and Activision said they would be actual armor/weapons. Their middle ground is that purchased armor and weapons starts at 3 lighy
