Responding to the OP point by point: 1. Assuming all the maps work for Control, yes. I got both my 40s to rank 5 and if I see Exodus Blue and the two Dreadnaught maps again, I will scream. 2. Not sure that would work. People would pick the game they find easier to grind-or the ones the streamers tell them is-and people with a preference for the others would be boned waiting for matchmaking. 3. Less secondary ammo, possibly. Shotguns still seem to be killing at patently absurd ranges, though not as bad as they were before, and it would limit the sniper usage, forcing you to be tactical and strategic with limited ammo. Heavy ammo, right now the problem really is that challenge modes in KF are handing out Harrowed HMGs all over the place and those things just frigging [i]plaster[/i] you. Heavy ammo isn't the problem. 4. That would solve tons of problems and yet seems so unlikely to happen. Supporting the servers for a game with a population, account wise, that rivals World of Warcraft without sub fees seems to be a losing proposition. And has the problem that comes with MMOs where all the best people would flock to whatever server their favorite streamers were on. Think Iron Banner is fun now? Imagine the delight of an IB if you kept running into the Twitch.tv and Youtube populated servers. 5.Matchmaking should never pit six person fireteams against six randoms. Ever. I don't think a fireteam of more than 3 should be allowed on one team in Iron Banner, if the game can't pit fireteam against fireteam and random versus random. 6. The ban thing...no. If I check the lobby and see me and my five randoms are facing a team of 317-320 people in a fireteam, I'm -blam!-ing bailing that matchmaking. 7. Awarding rep for losing would just cause people to AFK, especially with the alt buff and tempering. However, the massive drawback to the medallion system is...go on a ten match losing streak, win, and you get only a percentage of rep for five losses. The only idea I was would still be vulnerable to AFKing, but maybe 40% of the rep for five medallions when you hit five? This is a tricky fix. Maybe more than 3 daily bounties? 8. Rewards. SImply put, light levels aside, [i]Iron Banner shouldn't drop blues at [b]any[/b] rank, but especially above 3 and definitely at 5. [/i] I actually think there should be a point where blues stop dropping period-maybe Nightfall?-but the raids, Trials, and Iron Banner shouldn't drop blues. Blues dropping in Iron Banner is especially silly since it actively encourages the highest Light possible. The ranks should drop particular ranges, with rank 5 dropping 310-320. Remove "nothing" from the loot table of the entire game, and make it so single motes of light never drop again. Just a few thoughts from a PVP scrublord.
