denial of reality is understandable. i get it. pro tip for you two as well as any new takers; it may taste sweet at times, but dont drink the kool-aid. i promise you it gets better. just refrain from blind blissfull ignorance more each day. you'll wake up eventually. it will smack you back if you choose 2 continue living the lie. truth will inevitably prevail. you'll see.

  • Yep. Still not making any sense. These posts are good thoughts, but they apply to nothing if you don't give them topicality. It sounds like you are trolling me for writing these because you feel like Destiny is a bad game and people who bring this kind of positive to the forums must be some kind of savage?

  • I feel that your work is great. I wouldn't want to change that in anyway and I apologize if I have rustled the followers feathers a bit more from the norm. Your absolutely right, it's positivity. It's needed now more than ever honestly. I predict if bungie throws away this project, the community would still gather to discuss it all for some time.

  • In depth reading of my maze of words will reveal respect for bungie. With disgust for how things are going. It's upsetting isn't it. No other company can do what bungie does with the industry. They always have tried to assimilate bungies newest industry changing revolutionary design. It has been this way since halo. It's awful so many have left the community for the way the game is being handled by it's creator. They're to be better than this aren't they. It's a history, a legacy that seems is being thrust into non-existence by it's parents. I expected so much more. We all did!

  • I'm not trolling you max. I was merely responding to replies in ways most do not. I will vote for lord Saladin to be the new speaker. Through hard work he rewards us all, most every month. He's a steadfast soldier with experience whom would tell us all exactly what happened Pryor, as well as what could happen in the future. Then the fact remains, whomever is the speaker must at least have a mind link with the traveler. In this thought we can embrace the possibility that the speaker is actually possessed by the traveler. Hence never actually seeing his face. Prophet or puppet, what do you think?

  • Well now, there is a lot to consider before I could just answer. I've wondered this actually on many occasions. I honestly think that the Speaker is is a part of the Traveler itself. We never see his face, and his mission is to heal the Traveler and set Guardians on their path if I remember his Grimoire correctly. There has always been a Speaker, but from what I can see, it has always just been one Speaker. We don't really know anything about his past. It honestly makes me wonder if the Speaker isn't either some kind of Phantom character (one dies, another takes his place without anyone really knowing, giving the impression of immortality) or perhaps he is an Exo. The thing is, I don't think that the Traveler is all we make it out to be. There's an ugly story in there somewhere, and it's really annoying that Bungie refuses to do more with it. It has been responsible for the destruction of many civilizations before humanity. The question is, why did it stop with us? Why did it decide to make Guardians out of humans if it could have done it with any other race?

  • I deeply feel that the traveler only wiped out the others because they were too dark, too evil, too far gone to bring back. It could be also that the traveler did the exact same on those worlds as it has been doing with ours. Only, the darkness kept overcoming the efforts. Resulting in the consumption of all good, purity and light. As with oryx. He is darkness wielding light as a weapon just as the traveler. Only difference being that oryx jumps straight from his box doing so. The traveler jumps straight into using the light for improving the over-all value and longevity of life. As with oryx, he would use it to control mindless shells of a former species. My biggest concern with this has always been the communities over zealous desire for more back story and conflicting outlooks in the forums actually changing the traveler into the antagonist. It would destroy any believability that remains with Destiny for myself. I would be tragically accepting gamestops five U.S. at that point.
