In my eyes, we're getting ripped off and I see destiny being stretched out over 15 years instead of 10. Solely because a years worth of content just got moved to destiny 2, and something for there will most likely move to being the next dlc. If they can make money off these events, they're just going to delay product over and over again. Not the first time, won't be the last time.
That's why I won't support it myself, but I'll never tell someone what to do with their money, go buy some sparrows if you want, just hope the events turn out to be enough content for you.

Edited by KillrAppleJuice: 12/11/2015 3:45:04 PMI just hope they fix their shitty in house engine.
“Let’s say a designer wants to go in and move a resource node two inches,” said one person familiar with the engine. “They go into the editor. First they have to load their map overnight. It takes eight hours to input their map overnight. They get [into the office] in the morning. If their importer didn’t fail, they open the map. It takes about 20 minutes to open. They go in and they move that node two feet. And then they’d do a 15-20 minute compile. Just to do a half-second change.”
http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731 (a little after the picture of Oryx) It makes sense [to me at least] to move a lot of content to disc 2. The Xbox 360 and Ps3 are barely making it by....in other words they gotta stop beating a dead horse with all these updates and additional content, (it's done, it has officially been 10 years that those consoles been out, it is time to move on). Instead of spending loads of money on trying to code for last gen, they can just spend all resources on coding for the easier to code for Xbox One and ps4 and give us that massive experience we've been wanting.

Btw that was a great article you should make a thread with it if it's not already. I've always thought I would've liked staten's version but after reading that I'm happy with what we have, and just excited for destiny 2. Time to do some sparrow racing I guess :/

I will, thanks. And hope you place in top 3....I should really fill out this $10 book, almost done completing it.

Fair enough, but at the same time aren't you a little skeptical? I understand how hard it is and that 360 is already holding new gen back, and it 100% makes sense but I still have this feeling of being ripped off. They really are trying to stretch content even in ttk, so what makes you think they wouldn't always do that? Not really sparking an argument because everything you said is true, I'm not debating that, just being a little skeptical before I throw my money at the screen next.

Oh ya I know. But after reading the latest Weekly Update it gave me some faith. Bungie knows they've made a lot of mistakes in the past year and hope to make it right with the next one. Accepting the facts that they messed up is a hard thing for a developer to say, at least they're being honest. *cough*unlikeacertainubisoftwithassassinscreedunity*cough*
