Lovely little light,
Pitch once deep,
But now so high;
A choice must be made tonight.
The Crucible burns,
The Darkness yearns;
Both so eager to taste our light.
Come forth, Oryx,
Your eyes shall see,
Ego sum angelus nex.
Through your dark I free my light.
With poise I strike,
Falchion in hand.
A guardian's blood now coats the land.
By my will I free your light.
Quantified so easily,
And rationed so measly,
My time must be.
Yet I am compelled to both raid and PvP!
Will my will,
Will me to rise?
Wish me well,
As I seek my prize.
But the Vex, oh, I adore!
For time, to me, is such a chore!
The quest is marked,
The end in sight.
Which path must be walked,
Lovely little light?

Not the best thing I've written (far from it), but it gets the point across... I think. Basically I wrote this just thinking about how badly I wish I could choose how to complete some bounties. Such as earning the exotic sword. You know that bit about killing guardians in the Crucible? I bloody hate it. If I could choose to, instead, land the killing blow on Crota (or literally any other enemy outside of the Crucible) 25-75 times, I would take that option.
If PvP players could choose to finish the Thorn bounty by, let's say, killing a randomly selected target on the enemy team "X" number of times, or something. I dunno. (Although, in my head I imagined a Thorn bounty-seeker getting a target marked in the crucible, then the player they're hunting getting a buff like "Power of Darkness" or something. Them glowing with void energy and dealing just a bit of increased damage to the player hunting them. It just seems interesting to me)
Anyway, that's my two cents, and a poem. Choices are cool, m'kay?

4 RepliesI too, like choices ... and I'd add one more - a choice for my ghost's voice - past, current, or none.
