  • Because he's part of the problem as to why Bungievision continues to sell us over priced cut-from-the-original-game "dlc" packs that are really "pay to unlock areas/content you already had access to but we're going to lock you out and force to to buy if you want to play old content." That's why he's probably calling out OP.

  • Forcing your opinion on others is clearly the correct response in the face of abject criticism!

  • No that's Activision period. They've been using that business tactic for quite awhile regardless of player feedback. They want their money, they don't care if people like it or not. It's a sound business practice, even if it's morally unsound. My opinion is not going to change that either way, nor will my actions

  • Lol no, bungie is at fault for convincing activision destiny had enough content to back activision's endorsement. Turns out bungie didn't have much at all but activision had to work with what they were given... Both are at fault.

  • Bungie was in development for 7 years. Chances are they ran out of the funds needed to complete the game. They were no longer with Microsoft so most likely signed with Activision so they could get the funding. After signing, Activision most likely required them to cut the content and split it into DLCs. The game content had to have been huge after such a long development period. Sure, Bungie signed a deal with the Devil, but Activision has been known for these types of deals with CoD...way before Destiny was a thing. The blame does lie with both, but Bungie most likely backed themselves into a corner with such an ambitious undertaking.

  • I respect the fact that Bungie listens to the community so much to at least try to make what we have to pay worth it.

Year one was sure worth it...lol... Can't even use hours invested as a measuring stick anymore considering they invalidated all year one progress.
