That's fair enough, well written and good feedback. I'm curious how you feel about bungie locking non dlc players out of buying any guns and taking away strikes about level 20, removing an entire in game currency we previously had (marks that non dlc players have no access to) ect...

Although I don't agree with Bungie locking players our of the previous content this should not effect the reviews of TTK.

At some point your gonna have to pay more to enjoy this game. People say that this is not an mmo and that's true however, Destiny does share MANY characteristics with mmos and continual payment is one of them. This is undeniable. If you haven't upgraded yet, I strongly recommend doing so. My friends and I have had SO much fun in the past few days! Definitely worth the cost.

Destiny was not advertised as a subscription based service. Actually Bungie made it very clear in the past that they wanted people who didn't purchase the DLCs to still be able to play the game. It seems like they changed their stance.

I feel great about it. About time none DLC owners get nothing from the DLC. The last two you got 50% or more of the content that others paid for. So I like it.

Well the only example that I can personally draw from is a comparison to World of Warcraft. I know that the two games are different, however, they share similarities. WoW does the same thing when a new expansion comes out. All of your old gear and weapons are good for whatever content you have paid for, but you will not have access to the new level cap or new gear, weapons, mounts, etc that come with a new expansion unless you buy it. Bungie has streamlined all the year one content and they are moving forward, hoping that their customers will do the same. I can see where it may be bothersome for people who haven't moved into year two. In fact, I know the feeling when being behind an expansion in WoW. Regardless, Bungie is taking a lesson from the pages of PC MMO'S when it comes to expansions. It's new to consoles, but it's been a PC practice for awhile.

Very well said.

All the content is now geared to level 40. How would you make new equipment for the people who can't reach that stage? It would be an entirely different DLC they would have to impliment. Where would the money for that come from? How would that be fair to the people that supported Bungie by paying the next subscription cost? People who decided not to buy TTK knew they were going to be left behind, it is just part of the progression of the game. No one's fault but the individual who decided not to purchase.
