The Nexus blast radius for its cannons is stupidly overpowered and needs a serious tweaking. Bring the damage of it way down. Either that or do something about the mobs that spawn in, cause you seriously can't be dealing with both. Instead of the virtual army of small fries and snipers that get cheesy kills on you, I'd rather deal with biggums like Hydras and or Goliaths. Tone down the Nexus itself and put more focus on the mob encounters instead.

I think more variety is needed for the Nexus, smaller faster firing weapons, with Larger weapons (the ones he has now) can get disabled/destroyed. Also Add a few minotaurs into the mix, and lock spawns closer in to health intervals.

Edited by GraciousEel761: 8/30/2015 2:42:46 AMInstead of a rotating shield, have the shield in front of the Nekrion guarding his weakspot (whole body really). The cannons would be shooting around them. The idea is that Nekrion picks a target and attacks/defends against that Guardian. Others must move to flank in order to do damage. This way, there is no camping and waiting for the shield to rotate so you can Gjallarhorn or Icebreaker the boss down. Another benefit is promotion of teamwork in order to tank/dps him.

Brilliant idea. It would make a need for some to "tank" the boss, which generally means aggro it and play catch me if you can! Which would considerably improve the strikes difficulty. Adding in a height variable so he can float higher would be good too.

Yeah, it would be more difficult. Maybe too difficult. He should probably go Berserk like the other Vex as well. Maybe drop his shield and charge? That's usually what they do.

Difficulty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it would be challenging. A Titan for example with Glasshouse and the Extended bubble time dropping a bubble. That would be a great defense. 2 Titans even better. It adds the need for mixed Fireteams, 3 Hunters would have a much harder go of it. I am all for promoting mixed fireteams.
