well as bungie has stated they are giving us 2.0 versions of SOME exotics while this is really cool and an awsome feature, why are only a few exotics being brought to year 2 as upgradeable?
for example why is the last word one of the most broken PVP weapons to date being brought to year two as a new 2.0 exotic and the thorn is not
there are 3 questions in particular that need to be answered, the first is a simple one
Q1) why are only a few exotics being brought to year 2? are the other exotics planed to come as well or should we toss our exotics because upgradability will never be an option?
- weapons like plan C, or pocket infinity would become instant dismantles when the taken king comes out without year 2 versions
A:???
Q2) are exotics limited to a predetermined damage level?or is weapon fusion available for exotics as well?
-is year one suros stuck at 160 attack meaning exotics like thorn will be locked as well without a year 2 model?
-is year two suros stuck at 280 is this upgradeable or are exotics as a whole non upgradeable?
A:???

Q3) this is the big one! are exotics going to conflict with each other in our inventory? if we say have an exotic class item and perhaps in the future an exotic sparrow, ship, ghost shell, ect are these going to conflict with out exotic load outs meaning we might not be able to equip an exotic piece of armor?
A:???
these things would be greatly appreciated to be cleared up for the community to understand better thank you

4 RepliesFirstly, it's to stop people using the same weapons and try out new gear. Though these exotics may be upgrade able later in the year, probably in other DLCs at bungies discretion. Last word is being fixed in weapon update though, so it's original intention as hip fire gun might be used that way. People think year one exotics will go up slightly in attack but not much. Necrochasm at fully maxed was seen at 172 attack so you could infer as maxed year one exotics will have a similar limit, while year 2 versions will go much higher, 280?
