A lot of Destiny is online so I'm not even certain the memory issue is primarily due to your system as the data may be stored mostly online meaning the storage issue may be on their servers. Regardless with the number of players there are I can see there being memory storage issues especially as they want things equal across all platforms. In other words they don't want a older gen player complaining the newer gen has more vault space. The aggravating thing will be if they start selling vault space like on CoD Advanced Warfare multiplayer. I'm not paying for more room to store virtual content unless something more valuable is bundled with it. Edit: Even if something good is bundled with it that doesn't mean I'll buy vault space if it's ever sold especially if what they theoretically bundle with it is cosmetic lol.

Someone else had a good point and your comment made me think of it... if they increase vault space with each dlc we are kind of paying for extra vault space. They were saying basically that the need for it to be fixed is a selling point for the next dlc. It should really just be assumed that vault space is increased with each dlc to make room for the new stuff and sized accordingly. It maybe possible one reason for limited vault space is to drive future sales but it seems a bit of a risky one given that if they frustrate people too much they will just leave.
