However, [i]any[/i] issues with the Red Bull quest, should be handled through Red Bull customer service, a link to which is included in the previously linked FAQ.

The entire promotion is titled Red Bull Quest - in that usage, I am not referring to the story mission that will be available. Any issue, from redeeming the code on the red bull site, to not having the in game items show up, should be handled in the suggested manner. I suggest putting in a note with Red Bull. I have passed along the issue, but I do recommend taking the action in the meantime.

Edited by Tecnniqe: 8/12/2015 2:31:52 PMI fail to see how this thing has anything to do with the redbull company unless they got source code and can patch Destiny. This issue came to light after the last hotfix for any redeemable codes (by the sounds of it) and is not limited to redbull.

He's saying Red Bull has taken responsibility for fronting any issue with this promotion. Red Bull staff are likely working with Bungie staff on the back end to resolve technical issues. Most likely, as part of the promo deal, Red Bull agreed to handle the added customer service load.

Make no sense to send Redbull a mail to wait a day or two for a response only for them to send it back to Bungie and hope they notice it.

I agree. My point is simply that it sounds like the contract between Bungie and Red Bull leaves responsibility for fielding customer service calls related to the Red Bull Quest in the hands of Red Bull. Not an unusual move as it means Bungie does not need to ramp up their customer service department to front the increased load and Red Bull does the initial triage.

It's not an issue of fault. It is simply an issue of who has responsibility for dealing with "Red Bull Quest" customer service issues. That responsibility falls to Red Bull, not Bungie (likely part of a contractual agreement).

Yes but does that mean that Redbull is able to access the script and worlds for Destiny and fix this ?

I don't know, but probably not. Likely Red Bull is providing the initial triage for Red Bull Quest related customer service issues. Technical issues are likely being handled behind the scenes by Bungie engineers.

Are you sure about that? Red Bull Quest codes are redeemed at a Red Bull website. How have you come to the conclusion that the issue is with Bungie and not quest.redbull.com? Regardless, if you have any issues with your Red Bull Quest code, Red Bull is providing the support, not Bungie. We can rant about that, but it won't change the fact: problem with your code? Talk to Red Bull.
