Hate me if you want, but Mass Effect 3.
The gameplay was at its peak, the story wrapped up most of the endings in satisfying ways, and the story was centered where the series should've been from the start: on Shepard vs the Reapers. You can complain about the final ending until you're blue in the face; it really wasn't that terrible with the extended cut. You can complain about how certain points seemed to jerk in another direction (how post Thessia everything is super tense and overly dramatic, or suddenly the genophage is a very black-white moral argument). But it was the best overall.

I remember when I first finished 3, I was like blank for a few minutes, I felt it was wrong. Not until I saw my friend the week after that I realized I hated 3 for its lack of dedication and finality to the series. I mean for me, I was hoping to see my actions from past games be reflected not just referenced.

Only thing I wanted was a little more romantic option diversity in ME3 overall I loved the game and all the decisions I made coming together into one finale

Plus the multiplayer was fun.

So fun

I don't think anyone could hate on anyone's opinion here, all three games are -blam!-ing masterpieces which carried on from eachother.

Me3 is a great choice. I won't hate on it just because of the ending. The combat was fooking perfected
