Bungie built the forums for us to commune. If we don't have a say in how it works, it is basically like a family member giving you a present on Christmas and says it is theirs because they paid for it, but they gave it away, and like the forums, it is a gift. A tool for the community to expand and thrive. The forums should be for the players, not for Bungie/vision to feel good about themselves when they look upon posts they agree with and think, "We did good in the end." while the rest of us feel ignored and oppressed. This is almost like an infringement on the freedom of speech considering posts they don't agree with get pushed down and are harder to seek out. In conclusion. The forums should be ours to live in while we are along for the ride of Destiny and other Bungie titles.

  • The point of the forums is to spread their controls to the wide audience that plays this game that only uses the Internet for information. Forums bridge the gap between master and slave basically, by using a harmless somewhat friendly community leader to bring in some one on 'our level' to make all of their highly planned wallet squeezing seem benign. This is the Activision code of conduct:make money, break wallets, brainwash kids so they brainwash their parents lol
