Any Nightfall or PoE encounter with Lightswitch active will make the Don't Touch Me's a bad idea, but outside of that its a good backup if you happen to get swarmed. Take a hit or two and get the hell out of there and into cover. I don't depend on it though.
Armor with a high strength stat is more important. You want your blink strike to regen as fast as possible, especially in PoE when you might not have the time or cover needed to safely crouch for long enough to go invis. Slap the enemy closest to you and get to cover that way.
The armor Veriks has been selling so far has been all strength which is a Bladedancers dream. I bought the gloves last week and the chest this week which maxed out my strength stat. I run discipline on my other two armor pieces because I like to spam grenades, but you can aim for intellect instead and get your Vanish up more often. It depends on your play style. But strength should be #1 for a Bladedancer.

After I bought the gauntlets last week, i got 100% int and 100% strength ( 0 disp )..... Works awesome.. Sure grenades are great and I'll def. want int/disp when running gunslinger! ( throwing knife sucks compared to e.g. trip mine )

I'm running blade 98% of the time so I went with discipline/strength. I'm going to try and get a chest and gloves with 100% intellect for the occasional time I run Gunslinger. I use my super more as a Gunslinger and my knives less.

Edited by KimHasselager: 5/27/2015 1:22:51 PMI should consider other factions.. Atm I am new monarchy, but fwc seems best for gunslinger, and now you mention it, the dead orbit for blade seems somewhat good :) I did however do PoE the other day, using my super quite often to clear out larger groups or do insane damage on harder ones... :) Also like the super when I play PvP, which I do a lot :)

for gunslinger, go get the celestial nighthawk helmet, 130 int, gonna be op at boss to do 6x dmg with golden gun :)
