The Vex is fine the way it is right now. It doesn't need to be touched by Bungie ever again.

The vex in PVP is fine in PVE however it could be so much better it's only effective against low tier enemies you have a better chance killing higher tier enemies with a water pistol than the mythoclast. Its simply not worth the exotic slot at least in my opinion anyway.

But it takes almost an entire mag to down any enemy that's higher than lower tier which is pathetic specially for a raid exclusive exotic. Christ it's legendary VOG counterparts fate bringer and vision of confluence completely out class it that should tell you instantly that it needs a buff.

No because other weapons have trouble taking down high tear enemies as well. The Hawkmoon has trouble killing shielded majors while the Vex can take down the solar shield easier.

the only reason hawk moon doesn't take down shields well is because it doesn't have elemental damage and yes you are right the vex does have solar damage but less than half the games enemies use solar shields. Also the mythoclast is generally bad against majors which it should not be its a raid exotic not a f**king water pistol.

I take care not to just hold down the trigger to avoid over shooting and wasting ammo. when I am forced to use it at med range I always tap fire it to make every shot count. I don't even bother at long range because of the steep damage drop off and the fact it's not meant to be a long range weapon. Don't get me wrong I love it but it's just so underwhelming it should be so much better in PVE especially because as I have mentioned before it is a raid exclusive exotic.

I don't have the same experience with it. It's great; especially in the abyss. Hollowed Wizards die pretty quick while using it as well.

that's only because wizards have solar shields, have a small amount of health and they are very easy to headshot except for when they start erratically flying around like a retarded bird lol.

It's not so bad against them if you have crowd control activated but if you don't it takes the p**s I suppose they are very easy to headshot though. But of course then they put their shield wall up and regen a chunk of health that really annoys me but overall I wouldn't say it's to bad against them but it should be better in my opinion.

Takes their shields down quickly because they have solar shields and of course the mythoclast deals solar damage. Their health well that's a different story if crowd control is activated its slightly easier. If it isn't its pretty bad to be honest especially because they tend to be more aggressive and knock your aim off with their grenade launcher thingy's and they tend to jump around a lot to.
