DeeJ sighting april 9th on the planetdestiny podcast. It's a long one, clocking in at almost an hour and 15 minutes. And it's not a 5 minute Q&A at the end, DeeJ is front and center the entire time. Talking at length about a range of stuff. Enjoy.

18 RepliesWith his low level and low Grimoire score, you know he doesn't really play the game. Kinda hard to listen to someone who doesn't even use his own product.

6 RepliesOh, it's the liar again who made us buy into a grind that was supposed to be a FPS with rich cinematographic storytelling! lol Obviously he is specialist in false advertising. Remember when he told us that everything you see in the Cosmodrom is real 3d and not a skybox!? I call that a bland lie. No respect for this guy.

18 RepliesEdited by ryanhatfield: 4/11/2015 5:42:47 PMIn the most constructive way possible, I think Bungie could really use some customer service training in terms of how to interact with their players. The first rule of customer service I learned almost a decade ago out of college was, "never over promise and always over deliver." Setting expectations and then not just meeting but exceeding them will win you loyalty from your customers. My wife's first job out of college encouraged workers to focus on ways they could " surprise and delight" their customers. Here are some examples: Instead of having months of cryptic messages implying an update like 1.1.2, give us a clear time frame even if an estimate perhaps make it on the long end, and then deliver it prior and out of the blue. People respect that they are kept in the loop, and are delighted when it arrives sooner. Or Vault space has been a big request. So why not in a weekly update state that 1.1.2 will address it, not tell us how much additional space will be given, and then turn around and give us a larger amount than was anticipated. People know you are working on it, but don't know much beyond that and again are delighted to find out that it not only meets their expectations but exceeds them. Or bring a barber shop to the tower, don't announce anything about it and just randomly bring it out in an Tuesday patch... Surprise we were listening and here you go!!

Its a good interview. Watched it yesterday, listened actually as the game play is just rehashed. I feel they could be asked some harder questions, but things were likely off the table before recording.

5 RepliesI find it amazing how people act as if this DeeJ scrub is like Kobe Bryant, or some huge celeb like Channing Tatum or something. He's a game geek who was hand picked to run a f***ing website that hosts gamers and forums. You turds act as if he's Jesus or somebody.

So to understand the story, one must leave the game and come to the app and to get information from the community manager, one must leave the app and go to a third party...got it.
