Well, that depends on how you define liberal and conservative. Is an anarchist a liberal or conservative? Is a communist a liberal or conservative?
English
-
Communist would be liberal Anarchist would be conservative
-
Anarchy is almost the opposite of conservatism
-
On a scale from far right to far left, Anarchy is the farthest right you can go Socialism is as far left as you can go
-
Anarchy is generally regarded as left wing
-
Communists are anarchists
-
Anarchists hold the belief that there should be no government. Communists believe the Government should be so big that they control every aspect of the citizens lives. That are definitely not the same
-
No, that's socialism. Communism was described by Karl Marx as a society where the state has dissolved and the people rule themselves in a mutualistic democracy.
-
Those are two different things. An anarchist could be either, a communist will always be left, or liberal.
-
But communism is anarchistic, and anarchy is right-wing
-
No, actually if you look at the graphs many people are posting, there are quadrants. Left to right is economics, while up and down is how authoritarian someone is. Because anarchism is dealing with no laws/authority, free, etc, it will always be at the bottom. But, it must be paired with an economic stance, usually communist (far left) or capitalist (far right). As for communism, it is an economic stance geared towards the left. The left generally wants everything and everyone equal, while the right prefers everyone working for what they earn, and harder/better skilled workers earn more. Because communism is left winged, you could have anarcho-communism, which is communism ran by the people, all the way to national communism, where the government decides exactly how much everyone gets at what time. The first would be at the bottom, while the latter would be at the top.
-
By Marx's definition, communism is a state where the ruling body has dissolved entirely and the people rule themselves in a democracy.
-
Marx wasn't communist, he was Marxist. They're different.
-
No, they're not. You know who wrote the Communist Manifesto? I'll give you a hint, it starts with an M, and ends in -arx (and Engels).
-
I didn't make the spectrum.
-
But Marx did make communism
-
Ok. I honestly don't know much about that so sure.
-
Jeez that took a while to write.
