alligator. either i can grapple its mouth shut, or i go quick.
with a shark you can only punch it at just the right spot on its nose and thats all you can do. you would never be able to generate the sufficient force to break its bones while underwater.
alligator. either i can grapple its mouth shut.
... You don't know how strong their jaws are do you?
-
the muscles it uses to close its mouth are much stronger than the muscles used to open. you can use your bare hands, or rubber bands, to keep its mouth shut.
-
Yes biting force. Not opening force. You use different muscles for opening and closing your mouth since muscles can only contract and relax.
know your facts
You don't go quick if it's an alligator/crocodile, you get drowned while being rapidly spun in circles and torn apart.
