[OPEN HOUSE] Questions about Destiny

Some questions for those that care: Balacing of weapons is a difficult task. Even more when there exists God-Teir weapons that the player anticipates to be more powerful than anything else on the battlefield. So how does one maintain the special feeling of being more powerful without that power ever converting over to the in-game numbers? Walking that fine line is obviously difficult, and mistake are expected. I question the future rebalancing of the exotic pulse rifles. They both contain higher end abilties that would be considered unbalanced anywhere else, but they lack the raw damage to actually kill at a sufficient enough rate to validate using them over something else. So how does Bungie plan on moving foward with the reconfiguration of something that needs a buff, but also has the potential to tip the scale the other direction? Bungie's previous IP brought many fun and challenging gamemodes that are much closer associated to a sports game than a shooter. While these were originally popular community games created through custom games, a few were eventually adopted into playlists. Is games such as Grifball still something that gaurdians of the Crucible might consider taking up? I could just imagine Shaxx running around in some rugby shorts. Then comes ammo drops. The decision was recently made to remove heavy ammo drops from stopping a player that had some, why? The classes are always a topic of interest. The highest viewed warrior at the release of the game was the magic wielding scholar, the Warlock. Then came a wave of realization that Hunters are built for the Crucible with their high damage output that requires putting oneself into the fray to use effectively. The Titans were the least popular, but the one people found themselves looking up to when they the unrelenting black of the Darkness became too much to handle. How did these abilities come into creation the way they did? Also, the future of the classes seems to only lead in one direction, another subclass. What kind of planning might go into that? Does a subclass need to uphold the motif of the class or be balanced in the game (or if it doesn't have both is it just scrapped)? Also, How did the name for "The Crucible" come about?
