So, I just dropped these two beauties today. Having other exotics waiting to be levled though, I don't want to waste my time on one of those.
First off, I really like the way those two guns look and the sounds, oh gosh, make my ears orgasm. Also they both roughly seem to have a very similar DPS, Monte Carlo being a bit weaker but better accuracy, which can also be compensated on Hard Light though.
So, do you guys have one of those and mind sharing your experience with me? For the first time I really don't know which one to choose to feed my Auto-Rifle addiction.
Side question: Obsidian Mind or Warlock Raid Helm with Super replentishment for voidwalker PvP build? Would maybe rather use exotic slot on something else.

If you use sunsinger warlock, use MC! If you use void walker, use hard light!

2 RepliesWhen fully upgraded I find it is easier to land consecutive head shots with hard light. Monte always has more kick. BUUUT If you are a gunslinging hunter you can have a throwing knife almost always with the melee regen perk

1 ReplyI dunno, man. I guess from a PvP perspective my first instinct is to say that neither are Suros, Vanquisher or Shadow Price. But I do use both in the crucible when I'm just having fun and laid back. I've had better success with hard light, for some reason, and I have killed people off the ricochet (which is funny as hell). The stability and range is better on Monte Carlo for sure. Even though hard light can have max stability, it just doesn't feel like it do to lack of range. So I guess hard light is more fun, but Monte Carlo is just better.

2 Repliesyou can feel it whenever you get killed by the monte carlo. awesome weapon, very offensive and good at almost any range. hardlight is more of a defensive controlling type weapon. havnt tried it yet though. still, looks better for CQC both really good for their respective playstyles
