Are you sure? I've not seen any about. All that I have seen is the public events when travelling about.

Yep. Earth has a few areas where the Fallen and Hive fight. As it goes on their level increases with each wave. Its pretty fun.

Just wait in the Skywatch or the area in Venus with the crashed dropship. You will see a text "The enemy is moving against each other" and large amounts of majors and troops will spawn on each side and fight eachother.

Hrrm, well that may be true but as far as I know it happens to no consequence. Which is why the enemy factions should be able to take over parts of the planet.
