There is already going to be a buff for the gun. It may not involve clip size, but you'll get more bang for your buck. So, hopefully the clip size will feel less relevant due to the improved performance.

Yep, I read about that in the dev notes. I would prefer the buff I suggested instead of some random improvement; just because I think my suggestion actually makes the gun cooler, where something like faster reload speed would just be an arbitrary improvement that contributes nothing to the gun's coolness.
