yeah people hate the UI for the PS3 but i like it a lot better than the 360. no ads to eat up my tiny bandwidth :)

Question about something that confuses me, does every game I play immediately get installed to the HDD? I've already went through about 22Gigs today just playing Tales of Xillia and downloading the Diablo 3 demo.

No, I don't think every game is. It just depends. If you download all your games, obviously it will eat your HDD up, otherwise, not so much, unless you have a ton of games.

Well I do not believe I told it to install Xillia, I just stuck the disc in and it started immediately. I'm thinking it does it with nearly all games just to ease the burden on the console immediately and to not damage the discs. I like that, I'm just hoping I don't power through all the space, but it shouldn't be a problem because I'm not planning on buying 20 games for it all this year, it's going to be spread out.

Interesting, I now know why people were saying that they were going through HDD space so quickly. On the Xbox it isn't a problem cause it's almost always a choice, now though it does it voluntarily. Good thing I have a lot of space, I should have enough room to install another 20 or so games and that will be spaced out over the next year, so I should be okay.

I have not, but that will be a rental so I'll add it to my Gamefly Quene.

Issue with the Legacy collection is that MGS 1 is acquired through the PS store via redeemable code. So if you rent it you have to buy MGS 1 from the PS store

Ha hmm, well it's going to be really outdated and I'm not much of a fan of a lot of "older" games, so I'll just look up a synopsis or ask Fatman for a small entry on it when I get around to it.

Well 2 and 3 look fine and 4 looks great, it's just 1 that looks extremely outdated.
