just pitching in here because I have had a similar issue. in my case I recently updated a software (corsair Icue in my case) and it caused serious drop in frame rate. I would see if perhaps rolling back recently updated software helps at all. the multi colored screen thing though makes me concerned it could be hardware related. but thats a worst case scenario.

  • Hi! Thanks for the answer! I will try that! I am not too concerned about the multicoloured screen as it hasn't affected any of my other games :) I have a laptop and before the crash i had been playing for quite some time and i think it was just that the computer wanted to protect itself, that's what i have been told anyways

  • Hey mate did you end up fixing the problem i have literally the exact same problem minus the multicoloured screen, the game froze after a gambit match the pc restarted then i get 40-60 fps sometimes even worse when i used to be getting the 100+.
