I expected a fresh start for D2 seeing as how everything in D1 is completely FUBAR at this point. The one thing I WANTED as a part of the fresh start; change my character's looks. I'm hoping we have the option to do this otherwise I would literally be starting from scratch.
Still on the fence about D2. I'm sure it'll get hyped up like everything else but, over time, it'll just be another repeat of D1. More stupid nerfs that no one asked for/wanted/hinted at and the dev team grabbing their ankles to satisfy whatever the streamers, i.e. the "community", complain about.

Im gonna sit back and wait a few months before i get d2...i hear the word nerf once and i am abandoning the game be it before or after i get the game i will be done with this all...give up everything but cosmetics? Thats bs... But the game has been in a tragic state for a long time now...if the trashing of all of our d1 work is to make a solid no need to adjust from the gate kind of game so be it...THAT BETTER BE THE CASE THO

Its normal they look for some balancing, OP is more damaging to a game than nerfing. It does frustrate me too but an OP unbalanced game dies quicker. I do agree though that its a dangerous thing to nerf too much as everything ends up bring the same just in different colours and u lose players. But in unbalanced games with OP weapons or skills players abandon quicker.

I slightly agree... Think about it tho... U say an op world would die fast... Yet cod has thrived for years... And every gun used right can 1 shot...if everything has the CAPABILITY to compete and have similar ttk...complaining would be invalid...because then it would be the tactics dictating matches and not the unbeatable god roll

That is true, but what Im referring to with OP is the fact that u have a limited amount of guns vastly superior to others. So in a game where all or the majority of weapons instakill, its fairly balanced, like cod. The problem with Destiny was the unbalanced relationship between nerfed and op'd weapons so they balance it out, or they try, which is in my view precisely the problem, they haven't succeeded snd nerfed too much, frustrating players
