not a new CEO. None of us care about him.
Speak for yourself man. I, and a lot of other people, actually welcome the new CEO.

Because good leadership is key to delivering a quality product. Developers are good at developing while effective leaders have the vision and business acumen to deliver a quality end product which impacts sales, salaries, satisfied customers, etc.. Hopefully the new CEO brings this to Bungie and revamps how things are done at the studio.
-
Unless their deal with activision is terminated they will never have good leadership. The contract between them leaves the CEO position largely handcuffed.
-
Let's hope Bungie turns things around.
-
Activision is greedy but not stupid. If bungie shows them the trend of players disaffecting to other games because of the lack of content and the way that they're treated, it won't be hard to convince activision to let bungie makes strides towards fixing it
-
Depends on how much potential Activision seeing in having profit with that fixes. You said they are not stupid. But too make customers happy and don't earn money is a stupid buisness. Since the Cash Shop without new Content it looking more like they want too press the last drops of money out of this game then too make any new or any fix.

Edited by pachydermparade: 1/29/2016 12:40:17 AMI think anyone can see that destiny's business model combined with great customer satisfaction = cash cow I think activision and bungie both know this, it's just a matter of getting to that place

The Problem is the People who quit Destiny mostly quit in waves and too other Games. A comeback is possible but mostly they go again very fast. -The first big quitter wave in May with House of Wolfes because some didn't liked Skolas is not a 6 Player Raid nor the fixiation too PvP. A very big quitter wave. But some of them come back at TTK. -The 2nd big quitter wave was the People who don't wanted too buy another Addon (TTK) in September. -The 3rd big quitter wave started in December, because of massive Lag and freezing Problems and a Lack of Content. After TDB Addon in Dec 2014 the People was waiting for more, they realized nothing will come fast and the Problems allways going more massiv. They also realized a endless Grinding without content is not really fun. The third wave was additional bigger because a lot of People changed from Ps3 too Ps4 but they did not buy TTK again for Ps4. So a lot of good qualified Destiny Players gone and Bungie tried too filled them up with new Beginners through xmas sales. Mostly that very younger public is not so stable like older. This brats are mostly not able too try a challenge more than 3 tries before angry quitting. Since December so much Raid Teams die because of no new quality Players. My Friendslists allways going longer and longer but the in Destiny online People allways going less and less.

You're under the assumption that you're dealing with a quality product. Changing the CEO to another Bungie employee will not change anything.

I agree. Quality and Destiny don't go in the same sentence. Let's hope the new CEO gets things headed in the right direction.
